The Love Project- Romantic Love

Note: In this post I reference the Law of Attraction aka LOA which you can read more about here:  https://fallingpetalsuk.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/law-of-attraction.html

This year I felt inspired to carry on with the Love Project that I started 2 years ago. I had kind of abandoned it until I did a post on self love and romantic love in March, which you can check out here: https://fallingpetalsuk.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/the-love-project-self-loveromantic-love.html

I can't believe it's been 2 years since the first post! I started the project because I wanted to have more love in my life, especially a loving, long term relationship with the man of my dreams. I haven't manifested the relationship yet but I have experienced love through friendship. Last year I found a supportive spiritual community online and it's enhanced my life. I think next time I'll do a post on friendship but for now I'm going to do another one on romantic love. A lot of links coming up! :)

Like I've mentioned before I think a big part of connecting with others and opening up to them involves vulnerability. I struggle with that but I'm trying to move past it. I'm also afraid of judgement, something that I expect a lot of other people are afraid of too. Here are a couple of posts on vulnerability:

This one is for men but helpful for women too:  http://markmanson.net/power-in-vulnerability

And then here are a few posts on love:

If you'd like to get clearer on the kind of relationship and/or dating life you want here's an article by Danielle Dowling: http://danielle-dowling.com/attract-deeper-levels-of-love

And this is a good post on being a conscious couple: http://shellybullard.com/the-4-qualities-of-a-conscious-relationship/

I know that I have issues with intimacy so I've been looking into that more lately, thinking about my beliefs and where my issues come from. I recently found an article about the "Avoider Mentality" which I really related to. If you also have a fear of intimacy then you might find it useful: http://lightwayofthinking.com/avoider-mentality-and-fear-of-intimacy/

I've been focused on the relationship area for my life for the last few years, clearing blocks and manifesting. One thing I've done in the past couple of years is create love themed boards on Pinterest to help me get into the "vibration" of a loving relationship. (See LOA post). If you're a visual person you might like to do the same. :) You can check them out here:

If you're into the Law of Attraction and would like to manifest a relationship here's a good article by Sarah Prout: http://sarahprout.com/metaphysical-ideas-to-attract-true-love

Ok, that's it for now! I hope you find some of these links helpful. :) Writing these posts has been helpful for me because it's good to clarify things and put my thoughts in one place. I find it a bit scary writing more open posts like this but I'm inspired by other people I see writing online.

If you have any tips on love and relationships then please share. :)

P.S. I'm currently signed up to Manifesting with Joy in Daily Life which is run by Joy Holland from the website Facets of Joy. It's a series of free audio interviews on the subject of manifesting and is open for registration until 30th November. I've found that I absorb information best by reading because my attention goes a bit when watching videos or listening to audios but it's good to try different things sometimes and since you can download the audios, I put them on my iPod to listen to more than once. If you're interested in the series here is the link: http://facetsofjoy.com/manifesting-with-joy-in-daily-life-a-series-of-free-conversations/
