Welcome to Falling Petals. I thought it was time I did an About page, so here it is! :)

I started this blog in February 2013. When I first started it, I knew that I wanted a more spiritual/philosophical type of blog (compared to my other one Star Sparkle Blog which is more entertainment oriented) but I wasn't sure which direction I would take it in. Because I was inspired to call the blog Falling Petals by the book The Tale of Murasaki by Liza Dalby, I posted a video of falling petals (cherry blossoms). You can read my first post here: https://fallingpetalsuk.blogspot.com/2013/02/welcome-to-falling-petals.html

Falling Petals gradually grew to be more about the self help/personal development, the Law of Attraction (LOA) and spiritual concepts. Now I'd also like to it make it a resource where you can find lots of information about self help/personal development and LOA.

About me: I'm a 37 year old woman and I live in South East England. I use the nickname/username Moonsparkle because I prefer posting under a username (although I sometimes use my initials ZM). My hobbies are reading, writing, listening to music, watching films, playing the PS2 and PS3, going on the internet, penpalling and belly dancing. I love music and books the most. :) I also like iced coffees, celebrity magazines, taking photos, blogging, the countryside and the beach.

Other interests: The supernatural/paranormal (especially vampires), dreams, astrology, magic/Wicca,Twin Flames/soulmates.

More things I like: Chocolate, sunshine, cats, sunsets, libraries, the smell of new and old books, notebooks, candles, learning new things, discovering new music and artists, baking/cake in general, magazines (celebrity and supermarket/food), Pinterest and celebrating the seasons.

Words I love Create, Magic, Manifest.

The picture is from my belly dance group BD4U's 3rd show in May 2016. (That's me in pink!).

Here is a newer pic from April 2018:
